When people choose to do things based on what they think or feel inside, sometimes judgement gets a little hazy. Such as when Hamlet chose to attempt to kill Claudius because he wanted to avenge his fathers death. Not thinking clearly, he made a fool of himself and people thought he was crazy. Acting on the feelings he thought of his fathers death and the thoughts of making Denmark a better place without Claudius becoming King and marrying his mother. Who he loves and wants to care for.
Secrets and lies are a huge factor in the human condition, seeing as everyone does it. In A Dolls House by Henrik Ibsen the main character Nora kept things from her husband, such as not telling her husband Torvald that she borrowed money in order to pay for his trip to Italy to get better. Or how she lies about what she eats because he doesn't like when she eats sweets. I feel that every one lies to people they love to either protect themselves or protect someone else.
When one gets corrupted of some sorts, it is usually y something highly addicting and hard to let go of. Such as when Frodo has trouble letting go f the ring at the end of the movie Lord of the Rings Return of the King. Peter Jackson does well in showing that Frodo is highly addicted and corrupted by the Ring. With the way he places the Ring in front of anyone who holds it, almost as if it has power over who ever carries it. Which it does. Corruption and addiction is a big factor in the human condition, seeing as many people are addicted and corrupted by drugs and or alcohol. The way Frodo is with the ring, reminds me of the way people are with drugs and alcohol.
